Event Description
The newest running and walking tradition in Roseburg, Oregon. Join us for a fall classic with beautiful scenery, a great cause and something for everyone - runners, walkers, families, kids and seniors!
Distances
This event features an 8K (4.97 mile) run/walk, a 2 mile walk and a Kids 700 meter fun run.
Location
Gaddis Park - Roseburg, Oregon.
Directions
Take I-5 to Roseburg (Exit #125). Go 2 blocks east on Garden Valley Blvd, turn right on NE Highland Street and proceed south to Gaddis Park.
Courses
The 8K run/walk starts at Gaddis Park, follows the bike path along the Umpqua River west to the YMCA, turns around, returns east past the park on the bike path to the intersection of Pine & Douglas, turns around and returns to Gaddis Park. The 2 mile walk starts at Gaddis Park, heads east on the bike path to a turn around near the intersection of Pine & Douglas and then returns to finish at Gaddis Park. The kids 700 meter fun run does one loop in Gaddis Park around the baseball fields. Click here for a COURSE MAP.
Awards
Awards will be presented in the 8K to the top three overall male and female finishers and the top three in each age group. All fun run participants will receive ribbons. All participants will be eligible for random prize drawings.
Age Groups
14 & Under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & Over
Event Benefit
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Cobb Street School - "Planting kernels of knowledge through arts and education." For more information visit COBB STREET.

Child Care
Parents running or walking in the 8K or 2 mile can take advantage of the free child care provided by the Cobb Street staff.
