Event Description

Looking for a great race in the Eugene area?  This is a flat, fast 5K run/walk in West Eugene, starting and finishing at Datalogic (formerly PSC).


Distance

This event features a 5K (3.1 mile) run/walk.


Location

Datalogic (959 Terry St) - Eugene, Oregon.


Directions

In Eugene, take the Beltline Highway to W. 11th.  Turn west on W. 11th and proceed to the first stoplight past Danebo, which is Terry St.  Turn right on Terry St (north) and proceed 1/4 mile to the Datalogic complex on the right. Follow the drive around to the north side of the Datalogic complex.


Course

The course starts and finishes on the north side of the Datalogic complex, looping through the Greenhill Technology Park and along the Amazon Creek bike path.  For a course map CLICK HERE.


Entry Fees

$20 with t-shirt through June 18, $25 with t-shirt, June 19 & 20.


Registration

Register in person at Datalogic or by mail.  Click here for ONLINE REGISTRATION.  Race day registration will be from 7:30am to 8:45am.


Awards

Awards will be presented to the top three overall male and female finishers and the top three in each age group.  All participants will be eligible for random prize drawings.  Prize money will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers, $100, $50 and $25 respectively.  An additional $100 will be awarded to the first male and female to break the course records.

14 & Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 & Over


Charity Challenge
Proceeds from this year's event will benefit many local charities.  Simply register and designate which charity you'd like a portion of your entry fees to go to, and that charity benefits.  The charity with the most entrants receives a $400 prize and wins the Charity Challenge!  The second place charity receives $100.
