Event Description

The newest running tradition in Eugene, Oregon - featuring the only half marathon of the season in the region.  Please join us for a fall classic with beautiful scenery, a great cause (help families in need meet their winter utility expenses) and something for everyone - runners, walkers, families, kids and seniors!  And new this year - Chip Timing!

Distances
This event features a Half Marathon (13.1mi), 10K (6.2mi), 5K (3.1mi) and kids 400 meter fun run.

Location
EWEB Plaza (4th & High St) - Eugene, Oregon.

Directions
Take I-5 to Eugene.  Go west on I-105 to Coburg Road/Downtown Exit.  Take the offramp labeled Downtown which loops onto Coburg Road briefly and then across the Ferry Street Bridge.  After going over the river, turn right onto 3rd St and then left on High St.  At the intersection of 4th & High Streets, turn left - the EWEB Plaza will be on the right.


Chip Timing
This year's event will be chip timed based on a Gun Start.  Chip attachment instructions will be included in race packets.  Non-returned chips carry a $30 replacement charge.


Courses

All races will start and finish at the EWEB Plaza, tour the Willamette River Bike Paths and Alton Baker Park - all are flat, fast and scenic.

Registration / Packet Pickup

Register in person at the EWEBCustomer Service Center at 500 E. 4th Ave.  Entries can also be mailed to: EWEB Run To Stay Warm, P.O. Box 10148, Eugene, OR, 97440.  Packet pick-up will be on Friday, November 20, from

Awards

Awards will be presented to the top three overall male and female finishers and the top age division finishers in each race.  The top walkers in the 10K and 5K and wheelchair participant will receive awards.  Ribbons will be awarded in the Kid's 400M Dash.  Random prize drawings will also take place for all participants.

14 & Under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & Over


Event Benefit

Proceeds from the event will benefit EWEB's Customer Care Program to help income-eligible customers who are having difficulty paying their utility bills - more than 4,000 households are helped each year.
