Event Description
This event is perfect for a late winter training gauge or a final long race tune-up for a spring marathon. The scenary is fantastic, the course is fast and the experience will be one-of-a-kind.
Distances
20 mile run, 15K (9.3 mile) run/walk and 5K (3.1 mile) run/walk.
Location
Winberry Park at Fall Creek Reservoir, northeast of Lowell, Oregon.
Directions
From Eugene: Take I-5 to Hiway 58 (Exit #188 towards Oakridge). Go 13.4 miles on Hiway 58. Turn left (north) at the covered bridge heading towards Jasper/Lowell Road, following signs to Fall Creek Reservoir. Go 1 mile into Lowell and turn right at the "G Market & Gas Station." Go 1.8 miles from the G Market to Big Fall Creek Road. Turn right on Big Fall Creek Road, another right on Winberry Creek Road and proceed to Winberry Park, following the signs to the parking area.
Entry Limit
Due to course, parking and transportation constraints, this event is limited to 150 participants in each race.
Entry Fees
$30 - 20 Mile without shirt through February 25, add $5 after February 25 through race day.
$25 - 15K without shirt, but includes shuttle to start, through February 25, add $5 after February 25 through race day.
$20 - 5K without shirt, but includes shuttle to start, through February 25, add $5 after February 25 through race day.
* Youth (17 & Under) participants receive a $5 entry fee discount.
Event cotton shirts can be purchased for an additional $6, event tech shirts can be purchased for an additional $10. Tech shirts are only guaranteed if ordered by Monday, February 22. Entry fees are non-refundable.
Courses
New for 2010: All courses will run counter-clockwise, and against traffic.
All events finish at Winberry Park at Fall Creek Reservoir and are incredibly scenic. The 20 mile run starts near the finish and does a complete loop of Fall Creek Reservoir, with 74% of the course on paved roads and 26% on smooth gravel roads. Click here for a
20 MILE COURSE MAP. The 15K run/walk starts at the entrance to Cascara Campground on Peninsula Road, following the last 9.3 miles of the 20 mile course - participants will be shuttled to the start, with 81% of the course on paved roads and 19% on smooth gravel roads. Click here for a

ONLINE REGISTRATION. PLEASE NOTE: Online registration will close at 12 noon, February 26, or earlier if the entry limit is filled. If entry space is still available, race day registration will be from 8:00am to 9:30am - please call for verification.
Awards
Awards will be presented in all events to the top overall male and female finishers and the top three males and females in each age group. All participants will be eligible for random prize drawings.
Age Groups
14 & Under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 & Over
Clothing
Participants will be allowed to drop their clothing bags in a van at the start of the 15K and 5K. Please make sure your name and bib numbers are clearly displayed on your bags - we are not responsible for lost items. Extra clothing bags will be available at the race day packet pickup staging area.
Shuttles
There is no parking available at the starting lines of the 15K or 5K events. Participants in the 15K and 5K events will need to park at the finish line at Winberry Park and take a shuttle to their respective starting line. Shuttles for the 15K participants will depart from Winberry Park at 9:25am. Shuttles for the 5K participants will depart from Winberry Park at 9:35am.
Marshals / Aid Stations / Toilets
Water and aid will be available at the following points for each event:
20 Mile: 3.0 mi, 6.4 mi, 8.6 mi, 10.8mi, 12.5mi, 14.2mi, 15.6mi, 17.5mi, 19mi.
15K: 1.8mi, 3.5mi, 4.8mi, 6.8mi, 8.3mi.
5K: 1.6mi
Toilets will be available at the starting line of each race and at the following points along the course: 20 mile (10mi, 16.5mi), 15K (6.5mi).
