Overall points are based on your finish among Hacker Grand Prix participants only.  Points are also awarded to the top five age graded scores.  Age division (1st-3rd) points are awarded based on the entire race field (with the exception of the Hackers Mile where no age division points will be awarded).  Series scoring is based on the best six races.  Runners must participate in a minimum of four races to qualify for overall series awards.  Age group for the series is based on age at the time of the first race of the series.

Scoring Example:
Runner Joe finishes 12th overall in the Scandia Run 10K, but third among the ten Hackers participating.  He also places second overall in the 45-49 division among all race participants and second best among Hackers in the age graded score.  Joe gets triple chicked as three women finish ahead of him.   He scores 80 for overall, 40 for age equivalent finish, 15 for age division and loses 9 points for getting chicked.  Joe's total score is 126 points.
