Event Description
The third leg of the Butte Triple Crown Series.  A unique event that offers a challenging course, scenic terrain and a festive atmosphere.

Distances
This event features an 8K (4.97 mile), and new for 2010, a 5K (3.1 miles).

Location
Eastgate Woodlands Park - Springfield, Oregon.

Course
The course for 2010 will not be finalized until the summer, due to construction on the I-5 bridge, please be sure to check back for changes.  The courses will start and finish at Eastgate Woodlands Park, winding along neighborhood streets and up Kelly Butte.  The climbing portion of the course is from approximately .5 mile to 1.2 miles, followed by a rolling descent and a flat stretch for the last 3 miles of the 8K race.  The 8K course map will be available soon.  Click here for a 5K COURSE MAP.

Entry Fees
$15 w/o shirt through August 21.
Technical event shirts can be purchased for an additional $10, cotton shirts for an additional $6.
Add $5 on race day.

Registration
In person at the Eugene Running Company (116 Oakway Center), through Friday, August 20 at 12 noon, and on race day from 6:30am to 7:45am..  Packet pickup will be on race day, Saturday, August 21, from 6:30am to 7:45pm.   Entry forms and online registration will be available soon.

Awards
Awards will be presented to the top overall male and female finishers and the top three in each age group in each race.  All participants will be eligible for random prize drawings.
