Event Description
A unique trail running experience. The 5K trail race consists of one loop on the lower part of the Rexius Trail and a short hilly section of the Amazon Headwaters Trail. The 10K trail race consists of a mile long ascent and descent on the Amazon Headwaters Trail, up to the Ridgeline Trail, with a flat one mile section at the beginning and the end. Both events will have a special "Age-Graded" category, with awards. This event in year's past has had a "Handicap" start - this year's event will be a mass start for everyone.

Directions
In Eugene, take Hilyard Street south to W. Amazon Drive. Turn left and continue south on W. Amazon for 1 1/2 miles to Martin Street. Turn left on Martin and the park is on the left.
Courses
All courses are on bark chip paths and dirt trails. The 10K course begins in Frank Kinney Park, does a 1 mile loop on the Rexius Trail, crosses Martin Street and onto the Amazon Headwaters Trail, climbs to the Fox Hollow Trailhead, loops over to the Dillard Road Trailhead and back, descends on the Amazon Headwaters Trail, crosses Martin Street and finishes with a 1 mile section of the Rexius Trail. Entry Fees
$15 through November 13. $20 on race day. Event tech shirts available for $10 - only guaranteed if ordered by November 9. The Kids Fun Run is free (10 & under).

Awards
In the 10K and 5K, awards will be presented to the top three overall male and female finishers and the top three in each age group. The top five finishers in each race, based on "Age-Graded" results will also receive awards. All fun run participants will receive ribbons.
