Event Description

A unique running tradition with three race options: 5K trail, 5K road or 10K road and trail combined.  10K participants run both 5K loops (one road and one trail), with each participant deciding which loop they will run first (that's right, there's some strategy involved).

Distances

This event features a 5K trail run/walk, a 5K road run/walk, or a 10K road and trail combined run/walk.

Location

Dorris Ranch Park - Springfield, Oregon.

Directions

In Springfield, take Main Street to 2nd Street, turn south and proceed 1 mile to the park.

Courses

The 5K trail course is entirely flat on dirt and bark chip paths winding its way through the filbert orchards along the Willamette River.  The 5K road course has two hills in the first half, while the second half is flat through a residential neighborhood along the river.  The 10K covers both the 5K trail course and the 5K road course, with participants deciding which of the two loops they will do first.  Click here for the 5K ROAD COURSE MAP.  Click here for the 5K TRAIL COURSE MAP.  Course maps will be included in the race packet.  Click here for a map of the TRANSITION AND TRAIL JUNCTION
