Event Description
Presented by REI in Eugene, this is the second leg of the Butte Triple Crown Series. Participants do not need to compete in all three Butte series evnets to participate - everyone is welcome. A unique event that is both scenic and challenging, supporting First Place.
Distances
This event features 5K (3.1 mile) run or walk.
Location
3rd & Lawrence - Eugene, Oregon.
Course
The 5K course will start at REI Eugene (3rd & Lawrence), proceed north on Lawrence to Cheshire, east to Skinner Butte Loop, ascend the Butte, loop back down for a short tour through Skinner Butte Park, and head to the finish at REI Eugene. Click here for a COURSE MAP. At the summit of the butte, participants will pass the marker commemorating the city's founder, Eugene Skinner.
Entry Fees
$15 w/o shirt through July 24.
Technical event shirts can be purchased for an additional $10.
Add $5 on race day.

Registration

Awards
Awards will be presented to the top three overall male and female finishers and the top three in each age group. All participants will be eligible for random prize drawings.

10 & Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 & Over
