Event Description
Presented by REI in Eugene, this is the second leg of the Butte Triple Crown Series. Participants do not need to compete in all three Butte series evnets to participate - everyone is welcome. A unique event that is both scenic and challenging, supporting First Place.
Distances
This event features 5K (3.1 mile) run or walk, and new for 2010, a 10K (6.2 miles).
Location
3rd & Lawrence - Eugene, Oregon.
Course
The courses will start at REI Eugene (3rd & Lawrence), proceed north on Lawrence to Cheshire, east to Skinner Butte Loop, ascend the Butte, loop back down for a short tour through Skinner Butte Park, and head to the finish at REI Eugene - the 10K course will utilize a loop along the bike path. Entry Fees
$15 w/o shirt through July 23.
Technical event shirts can be purchased for an additional $10.
Add $5 on race day.
PLEASE NOTE: Entry fees are non-refundable.
Registration
In person at the Eugene Running Company through Friday, July 23 at 12pm, and on race day from 6:30am to 7:45am.. Packet pickup will be at the REI store on race day from 6:30am to 7:45am. Entry forms and online registration will be available soon.
Awards
Awards will be presented to the top overall male and female finishers and the top three in each age group in each race. All participants will be eligible for random prize drawings.

10 & Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 & Over
