Event Description
The way to celebrate Earth Day - with a great run or walk along the Willamette River, with unique event twists.

Distances
This event features a 15K (9.3 mile) run/walk, a 5K (3.1 mile) run/walk and a three-person 15K relay (each member completes 5K in succession). 

Location
Eastgate Woodlands Park - Springfield, Oregon.

Directions
Take I-5 to Hiway 126, go east 1 mile to Pioneer Parkway.  Turn right (south) on Pioneer, go 1 mile to D Street, turn right (west), and go 1 mile to the intersection of D Street and Aspen - the park is on the left (south).

Courses
The 15K and 5K are both flat, fast and scenic, entirely on bike paths along the Willamette River.  The 15K crosses the river at the Autzen Footbridge and then again at the Greenway Bridge at Valley River Center.  Each member of relay teams will cover the 5K course in succession.  Click here to view the 15K COURSE MAP.  Click here to view the 5K COURSE MAP.

Entry Fees
$15 without shirt through Saturday, April 19. Add $5 on race day.  Tech event long-sleeve shirts can be purchased for an additional $10.  Shirts only guaranteed if ordered by Monday, April 14.

Awards
Awards will be presented in both the 15K and 5K to the top three overall male and female finishers and the top three in each age group.  The top three teams in each division and age category will also receive awards.  All participants will be eligible for random prize drawings.

Age Groups
14 & Under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 & Over

Three-Person Relay Teams
With the relay competition, each member will complete the 5K course in succession.  The team divisions are: men, women and coed.  The team age categories (combined age of all three members) are: 60 & Under, 61-120, 121-180 and 181 & Over.

Packet Pick-Up
Saturday, April 19, from 12pm to 5pm at the Eugene Running Company in Oakway Center.  Sunday, April 20, from 7:30am to 8:45am at Eastgate Woodlands Park.
