Event Description

A fantastic way to enjoy the early spring season and support a great cause in our community - the Bridgeway House.  Acting as emcee at this event, will be Joe Henderson, who from the 1960s through the early 2000s was a writer and editor at Runner's World magazine.  He has also written many books on the sport, and now coaches a marathon training team and teaches running classes at the University of Oregon. 


Distances

This event features an 8K run, and a 5K Run/Walk.


Location

The event starts and finishes in Alton Baker Park in Eugene Oregon.


Directions

In Eugene, take Coburg Road to Martin Luther King Blvd, turn south onto Country Club, and the park will be immediately on the left.

Entry Fees
$15 without event shirt, through April 17, 2010.  Add $5 on race day.  Technical event shirts can be purchased for an additional $10.

Awards

Awards will be presented to the overall male and female winner in each race, and to the top three male and female finishers in each age group.

14 & Under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 & Over.
