Event Description
If you love trails, trees, hills, mud, and more mud, then this is the race for you.  The scenery is fantastic, the course is challenging and the experience will be unforgettable. 

Distances
50K (31 miles), 25K (15.5 miles), and 10K (6.2 miles).

Location
Shotgun Creek Recreation Area, northwest of Marcola, Oregon. 

Directions
From the south (Eugene/Springfield):  Take Marcola Road north 12.8 miles from the intersection of Marcola and Camp Creek Roads.  Turn left onto Shotgun Creek Road and go 3.1 miles to the Crooked Creek staging area at the intersection of Shotgun Creek Road and Crooked Creek Road - park on the left. 

From the north (Crawfordsville/Sweethome), Take Brush Creek Road south, which will become Marcola Road - go 12.4 miles to Shotgun Creek Road.   Turn right onto Shotgun Creek Road and go 3.1 miles to the Crooked Creek staging area at the intersection of Shotgun Creek Road and Crooked Creek Road - park on the left.

Entry Limit
Due to course and parking constraints, this event is limited to 150 participants in each race. 

Entry Fees
$45 - 50K, $30 - 25K, $20 - 10K without shirt through March 25, add $5 after March 25 through race day.  Race day registration may not be available if field limit is reached before race day - please call to confirm.

Event cotton shirts can be purchased for an additional $6, event tech shirts can be purchased for an additional $10.  Tech shirts are only guaranteed if ordered by Monday, March 22.  Entry fees are non-refundable.

Courses

Due to recent timber sales, the courses will change for 2010, with a different starting and finishing location than in 2009.

Registration
In person at the Eugene Running Company through Thursday, March 25 at 12 noon.   PLEASE NOTE: Online registration will close at 12 noon, March 26, or earlier if the entry limit is filled.  If entry space is still available, race day registration will be from 8:00am to 9:30am - please call for verification.  Click here for ONLINE REGISTRATION.  Click here for an ENTRY FORM.

Awards
Awards will be presented in all events to the top overall and top masters male and female finishers and the top three males and females in each age group.  All participants will be eligible for random prize drawings.

Age Groups
14 & Under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 & Over

Clothing
Participants will be allowed to drop their clothing bags in the staging tent.  Please make sure your name and bib numbers are clearly displayed on your bags - we are not responsible for lost items.  Extra clothing bags will be available at the race day packet pickup staging area.

Parking
Parking will be available at the Shotgun Creek Campground.  Once the main lot is full, participants must park on the north side of Shotgun Creek Road.  Any cars parked on the south side of Shotgun Creek Road will be towed.
